The logo is about to be the subject of a High Court battle in the UK, because a textile designer, Cath Kidston, used the little deer in their Christmas range. In support of the claim of copyright infringement, the drinks firm’s barrister holds that both the Babycham logo and Kidston’s deer are…

“hoofed ruminants, unaccustomed to wearing ribbons”.
