In a bid to cheer up the population, two giant inflatable ducks have made a splash in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor, in the return of a pop-art project that sparked a frenzy in the city a decade ago.
The two 18-meter-tall yellow ducks are by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman. The installation is called ‘Double Ducks’.
When interviewed, the artist said “We need some joy”.
Sounds like a pretty good reason to me.
Have a great week.
