While many of you may be celebrating May Day today, did you know that it was also Law Day?
It was first proclaimed by President Eisenhower in 1958, and confirmed by Congress three years later.
In the United States, and Canada (since 1983), Bar Associations organize all sorts of events such as: lectures on the law; mock trials; debates; courthouse tours; fun runs; open citizenship courts; and poster, photography and website design contests aimed at students.
