Thanks to the ABA Journal, and also to Carolyn, for this incredible story of a Kansas man whose lawyer is seeking to have a large MURDER tattoo on his neck concealed or removed before he is tried for that very crime.
Various suggestions have been made, including asking a tattoo artist to remove or cover up the offending word, or concealing the tattoo from jurors through clothing, a bandage or any other means compliant with jail policy.
The most recent application would involve him wearing a turtleneck, whatever the weather (trial is set for the summer – in Kansas!). Think 32°C.
