It seems that in the United States, a bill may soon add pink protective wear to the existing orange that hunters are required to wear. The legislation was approved by the Wisconsin State Senate last week, and now goes to the State Governor, Scott Walker.
This is apparently aimed at “drawing more women to the sport”, and also seeks to “get more men and women off the couch and into the woods”. Wisconsin would be the first US state to allow hunters to wear ‘blaze’ pink, the International Hunter Education Association is reported to have said, while Arkansas allows hunters to wear florescent chartreuse.
And it’s not even April 1st… 😉
