To avoid disappointment, this post is to remind anyone thinking of attending the conference #W2D2018 The Value of Legal Translation Professionals that registration closes next week on 23 December 2017 (or earlier if capacity is reached).

We have just had the excellent news that the conference and pre-conference workshops have been approved by the American Translators’ Association (ATA) for a total of 10 (ten) CPD (Continuing Education / Continuing Professional Development) points.

Since most professional bodies worldwide have systems in place for cross-border accreditation of points earned from sister associations (of translators, interpreters, lawyers, and other related professions), this means that attendees should be able to include the event in their official CPD/CE record. For ATA members participating in one day only, they should contact ATA HQ for individual points.
