Monday smile – On the tangible nature of fish

grouperThe American Courts have been mulling over the question of which fish are tangible or intangible.

Following an offshore inspection of a commercial fishing vessel which revealed undersized red grouper fish among its catch, a case went from District Court level up to the US Supreme Court to establish whether a fish was to be considered a “tangible object”.
