Call for papers – Translating Research into Practice in Judiciary Interpreting and Legal Translation

The National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) and the Society for the Study of Translation and Interpreting (SSTI) are inviting proposals for the panel “Translating Research into Practice in Judiciary Interpreting and Legal Translation,” to be considered for the upcoming 9th Biennial Conference of the American Translation and Interpreting Studies Association (ATISA). The conference will be held on 29 March – 1 April 2018, at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, USA.

The NAJIT / SSTI call for papers can be found here. Current deadline for abstracts is 10 September 2017, so hurry, hurry!

Information about the ATISA conference itself, of which the above panel on the legal and judicial specialism forms part, can be found here, and the deadline for submission of proposals (individual papers or panels) is 15 October 2017.
