The 19th International Roundtable for the Semiotics of Law (IRSL 2018) is taking place from 23 to 25 May 2018, hosted by Örebro University, Sweden. The conference theme is “Law and Arts in Crime Settings“. 

IRSL 2018 welcomes a plurality of approaches, including those of legal studies, philosophy, social science, linguistics, history, cultural studies, and the humanities.

Abstracts of 300 words (max.) can be submitted until the extended deadline of 25 April 2018 to Laura Ervo (Organizer) (laura.ervo(at)oru.se) and Anne Wagner (valwagnerfr(at)yahoo.com) with participation decisions made by April 30, 2018.

Selected papers will be invited for publication in a special issue of the International Journal for the Semiotics of Law. (Springer: www.springer.com/law/journal/11196) or edited volume.
