The EULETA Legal English Conference VIII will be held from Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd September 2023 in Warsaw, Poland, co-organised by Kozminski University Language Centre and EULETA, the European Legal English Teachers’ Association.
EULETAʼs membership is made up of many people working in different capacities in legal English, for example: lawyers, linguists, translators, legal English trainers for professionals, and legal English university professors.
Presentations may be on any topic related to the teaching of legal English which may be
pertinent to in-house, language school, university-level, one-to-one, online, or any other
platform for legal English teaching, coaching, or testing.
Topics may also include legal linguistics, legal draing, translation and interpretation, or ESP/EAP and different areas of specialised language teaching, as long as there is a clear and practical connection with the legal English teaching field.
Conference presentations will be 30 minutes in length: 20 minutes for presentations + 10
minutes for Q and A.
The abstract deadline is midnight CET 30th April 2023. The EULETA Board will review abstracts and notify presenters by the end of May 2023. You may be required to answer some questions from the Board regarding your presentation during the reviewing stage.
“Further conference details will be published at a later date. Presenters are not exempt from the conference fee. This is an in-person conference and not online.“
