A conference entitled ‘Connecting cultures: Creating bridges with clear communication’ is being organized from 27 – 29 September 2023 in collaboration with the Observatorio de Lenguaje Claro (OBS) of the Law School at the National University at Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The conference builds on the OBS’ success in consolidating plain language knowledge from various fields into effective communication policies.

This is the first time the conference will be held in Latin America and the OBS is offering different fees per country and reduced rates for local participants. Registration opened yesterday.

Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) brings together plain language supporters and practitioners from around the world. It is a nonprofit organization run entirely on a volunteer basis. The growing network includes members from over 30 countries working in clear communication in at least 15 languages.
