This story first hit the media in 2009, but still seems to be current now, about the northern Italian bank Credem (Credito Emiliano) that decided to take wheels of Parmesan cheese as security for its loans.

We are in the village of Sallèdes (Puy-de-Dôme), in the midst of a neighbours’ dispute between the Rougier and the Roche families. The source of the dispute is a henhouse situated between the two, that the Rougiers would like to see demolished.
