As many people are winding down for a break across the globe, I thought a little relaxation might be in order.
I recently happened upon a new and beautifully shot video series by The New York Times called ’36 hours’. Each episode is a travel guide to what visitors could see and do during a short break in a city, including culture, history, food, and special or unusual aspects.

The International Association of Forensic Linguists (IAFL) and the Organizing Committee of IAFL12 invite submissions for the 12th biennial conference, to be hosted by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), Guangzhou, China from 6 to 9 July 2015.
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 31 December 2014.
