Regular readers may remember the post some months back about the Maple syrup marauders who stole Canada’s (and indeed most of the world’s) maple syrup reserves.
Well, a few days ago, the last of the culprits was arrested.
You can read Kevin Underhill’s witty account here. The thing that made me smile the most, however, was the discovery of the theft by an intrepid accountant who “climbed a stack of barrels to take inventory and nearly toppled an empty one“.
