In the past we have heard about Courts frowning upon high-heeled shoes, and disapproving of shoes with worn soles, but appropriate dress guidelines have recently been extended to banish nightwear.
Judge Craig Long put up a sign outside his courtroom in Catawissa Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania which read:
Pajamas are not appropriate attire for district court.
And it turns out that a number of schools in the UK have started asking parents to refrain from:
escorting children to and from school while still wearing their pyjamas and, on occasion, even slippers.
Perish the thought. Slippers indeed.
