Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, together with the European Commission and the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialised Translators (TEPIS) invite participants to a workshop in the series “Translating Europe”.
The event, to be held in Poznań on Saturday and Sunday 9-10 December 2017, on New Technologies in Specialist Translation, is organized by the European Commission and funded by the Directorate-General for Translation.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The number of places is limited. Priority will be given to those completing the application form available at this link. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in Trados and AntConc training courses. The workshop will focus on the following topics:
- New technologies in specialized translation
- Terminology databases
- CAT tools
- Machine translation
- Teaching specialized languages
- Use of new technologies in the training of translators
- Knowledge Network.
