The European Central Bank (ECB) is seeking a Principal Dutch Translator for a “fixed-term contract which may be converted into a permanent contract after three years subject to individual performance and organisational needs”.

“In your role as Principal Dutch Translator, you will be part of a team of two native speaker standard translators responsible for translating texts relating predominantly to monetary policy and banking supervision from English into Dutch. Your strong work ethic, can-do mentality, flexibility and good interpersonal skills will be essential to the work of this small team. You will also work closely with the ECB translators of other EU languages, and in collaboration with linguistic staff members and other experts at De Nederlandsche Bank and the Nationale Bank van België.“
