The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Florida (ATIF) is organizing a 4-hour workshop on January 18th [next week!] on DNA Forensics at Duval Courthouse in Jacksonville, Florida.
“Presenter: Davor Zidovec, Ph.D. is a Certified Court Interpreter in Federal Court, State of Georgia and State of Florida. Davor’s educational background spans three continents, Europe, South America and North America. He holds seven US Patents, has been published in scientific and technical journals and presented at technical conferences. His working languages are English, Spanish, Croatian and Bosnian. Davor is also the owner of First Coast Interpreting and Translation, Inc., a Jacksonville-based language service provider.

The 4-hour workshop will address, among other things, identification, analysis techniques, possible results, types of samples, paternity tests, terminology, and more. A multilingual glossary will be distributed; there is no cost to attend.
This presentation will be given in South Florida later on in 2013.
