Job openings – United Nations

250px-un_emblem_blue-svgSeveral job openings in the fields of translation and interpreting are currently being posted by the United Nations Careers service.

If you know anybody that is an experienced Russian specialist interested in working in Vienna, the deadline is 29 October 2016, for a Chief of Section in the Russian Translation and Text Processing Section. Find out more here.

In Geneva, on the other hand, a Senior Interpreter (English) is being sought (deadline 19 November 2016), with French and Spanish or Russian. More details here.

A Chinese interpreter is needed at the New York Headquarters (deadline 24 November 2016), with English or French. Details of the post here.

There are three openings in New York for a Senior Interpreter, Arabic (deadline 15 October 2016). Find out more here.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia is seeking an Associate Translator (French) with English required, and a knowledge of Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian being an asset. Deadline is 21 October 2016 – more information can be found here.
