Registration for paid traineeships at the European Commission is now open. They consist of 5 months with the Commission, or certain executive bodies and agencies of the European institutions such as the European External Action Service or the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, starting on either 1 March or 1 October.
Trainees will receive a monthly grant of EUR 1,176.83 as of 1st March 2018 and reimbursement of travel expenses. Accident and health insurance can also be provided. Every year, there are about 1,300 places available. The selected candidates get hands-on experience in an international and multicultural environment.
