Following last week’s post about their webinar on Wills and probate, I have been informed that eCPD Webinars are holding another session, this time at 11.30 GMT on May 6th, 2014 on Understanding English Law: Family Law, Divorce and Children.
The webinar will cover the terminology and legal implications under English law of the following:
- Marriage, civil partnership and cohabitation
- Domestic violence and orders to protect
- Divorce and dissolution
- Financial and children
- Orders relating to children.
David Hutchins, a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales, ran his own successful practice for many years. In 2001 he set up Lexacom English Law Courses, a training organisation for translators and civil code lawyers wishing to learn more about the English legal system. He divides his time between London and Nice.
Lexacom English Law Courses is approved as an authorised External CPD course provider, by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (regulatory arm of the Law Society).
The UK’s ITI recognizes this webinar as 1 hour’s formal CPD training, while members of ATA can earn 1 CE point for the session.
