The Syndicat national des traducteurs professionals (SFT) is organizing a summer school on financial translation in Brussels from 2 to 4 July 2014, 9 am to 5 pm. Sessions are presented in either English or French; given participants’ professional profiles, no interpreting is provided.

One of the main agenda items of the two Translation Studies Days held in Brussels on 20 & 21 September 2012, was the presentation of five studies recently published by the Directorate-General Translation of the European Commission.
Translation studies days in Brussels
On 20 and 21 September 2012, the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission (DGT) will organize the second edition of its Translation Studies Days in Brussels.
At this event, representatives from academia, public translation services and the language industry will meet to discuss studies covering a wide range of topics regarding translation, multilingualism, and international legal terminology.
