I came across a great resource packed with information about corporate and financial structures – The Puppet Masters – a report published by the Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative (StAR), which is a partnership formed by the World Bank and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to help end safe havens for proceeds of corruption and to facilitate more systematic and timely return of stolen assets.

From time to time one comes into contact with the highly technical world of watches. The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, Switzerland, makes available what seems to be an authoritative and detailed glossary of watchmaking terms.

The Federal Authorities of the Swiss Confederation make available translations of legislation online.
Famous trials
The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law has put together the most wonderful resource – a website including materials from a whole host of famous trials.
The trials go from Socrates and Galileo through to Clinton and O.J. Simpson, via Oscar Wilde and Al Capone to name but a few.
Glossary for greenhouse gas inventories
I happened upon these glossaries the other day, as you do, whilst working on a translation project, and thought they might be worth sharing with you.
